Steve Bisker was a staff attorney and Assistant General Counsel at the National Credit Union Administration for twelve years. Steve then entered private practice with a firm that represented credit unions. For the most recent 28 years, Steve has maintained his own private law practice, focused almost exclusively on representing credit unions on a wide variety of issues and problems.
Throughout his practice, the emphasis has been on regulation, governance and a broad range of NCUA concerns. Steve has also devoted substantial amounts of his time to protection and defense of the credit union system as a whole.
Steve earned his law degree from Georgetown University School of Law and lives in Virginia with his wife, Barbara. He is a member of the Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland bars.
